This Toyota truck is an absolute mess. How can it survive a controlled demolition?
Top Gear has a penchant for wild stunts. Hearing about Toyota's claims of reliability, they decided to test it out to the extreme.
In the first episode, this used truck was hit with a wrecking ball. Now, they've decided to bump up their tactics a notch.
The truck sits on top of the apartment tower marked for demolition by controlled explosives. It seems so peaceful and unsuspecting, like it just happened to be parked there.
Then the explosives go off, and the tower crumbles. The truck is swallowed up in a cloud of dust and rubble as it falls 240 feet to the ground.
Incredibly... it survived the fall.
All it took was a little bit of repair, and it even drove.
